How To Give Your Blog An Identity

Do you sell any services or products through your blog or website? Why don’t you consider affiliate marketing? Now, you may ask why it is I am talking about affiliate marketing. Here are the reasons: What happens in affiliate marketing? As a writer, you put a link or affiliate advertisement (or logo) somewhere in your blog and when someone decides to click on that link or signs up for that product or service, you make a commission. And what does the advertiser get? He makes an income by selling the product or service and pays you a portion of his or her profit. But that is not all - you are helping him or her to brand the product or the service in the internet market. How? To put it quite simply, even though all of your visitors are not clicking on those links (this also means that you are not getting paid for each unique impression), the advertised product is getting credited by the exposure in the target market. One of the main reasons why people consider spending millions of dollars in marketing is to stay alive in the large world of the target market’s psyche. They spend piles of their money for each impression. And also pays a large portion of money for every unwanted impression as well. A lot of money spent in other sources of the direct outdoor and newspaper or even TV advertising, is nothing but wastage if you think in terms of impressions left in the target market. You don’t have such a problems in the affiliate marketing aspect. In each web space (the writers) you are constantly keeping in touch with your target market or in touch with people interested in related products. To add on top of this, as an advertiser you don’t have to pay the publisher unless there is a conversion. This actually opens up hundreds of outlets to sell your display of products that would have been otherwise really tough to achieve. And you also get thousands of impressions from your target audience to celebrate as a reward because it shows that you have done a good job as a marketer. If someone finds that your company is everywhere on the web, just imagine the kind of influence it is going to have on your brand. So, why spend so many hours in search of advertisers? Become an advertiser and sell your very own product or service.
