How Do You Choose To Use Google Adsense?

By Almir Bojkovic

Do you use Google AdSense to help monetize your website or blog !

Did you ever assume why Google have decided to add two arrows in their AdSense banner to show more relevant ads?

Google is no dummy to make and sustain such a big change in AdSense (their largest source of income) without any thought or successful testing. And I am sure that Google knows exactly why they would be doing this.

But this implementation makes one thing really clear to me: people click on the link - with curiosity. Yes - either they have decided to click on the link even after knowing that it is something they know nothing about or because its an advertisement.

Why I’m really thinking in this line?

If you see the original AdSense code positioning by the webmasters you would find that they try to conceal it with the background or with other links. To put it in better words, they try to conceal the advertisements and wait upon their visitors to click - unknowingly. In fact, when you try to obtain the code of the text link ads from Google AdSense, the common choice is to always blend it with the background. Just take a ponder st other peoples website and you would know exactly what I mean. Is this time to change our common routine!

Let’s consider some points - reasons why people decide to click on the link!

1.They want more info and the tagline of the ad serves their interest.

2.The offer is too great to ignore

3.People never thought that those are text link ads and thought to be some ordinary links.

In first two cases, perhaps it does not matter if it is an advertisement or just another link. And thus there is no need to conceal these advertisements. But what about the third one?

Do you really need to hide the ads in situation number 3?

I read about on a online survey somewhere that concluded that people didn’t really know that the first few links in Google SERP are ads. And that they actually click on them. So, is there really any reason for them to hide the ad from them?
