What is the main difference between a successful blogger from a not so great one? The most obvious answer, of course is behind the quality content written on the blog. Popular blogs usually offer interesting, entertaining, and very informative material. However, there are also blogs that have equally high-quality content, but no one seems to drop by to read them. In this situation, the real difference lies on the quality and the amount of advertising a popular blog gets when compared to a not so popular one. To make sure your own blog is deemed effectively, here are several tips you can try out: 1.) Offline advertising is still effective even in this age of online dependence. Give out basic pamphlets to people such as your neighbors, friends, and family. Place a sticker containing the link to your blog on your car’s bumper just a thought and can work wonders and have seen it as well for reference. Wear a shirt containing your blog’s website or url printed on the front and back of the shirt. These are fairly cheap ways to market your blog, but they can reasonably help you out a lot in giving much more visibility to your website. 2.) Make viral marketing work out for you. Encourage people such as your family, friends, and other readers of your blog to spread the word to their own friends and families about your blog. Word of mouth marketing is also free, but it is power that grows exponentially. 3.) Search engine optimization or SEO works very well for article marketing, and it also works for blogging too. Use proper keywords that are popular and ones that are related to your topic within your article. This simple SEO technique is a common practice for many web masters and bloggers because it helps with getting better rankings in the search engine results. 4.) There are a many blog directories that you can submit your blog to. Take the time to study what directories are the largest and the best quality so your blog can receive more exposure especially to blog searchers.
