Beware When Renewing Your Domain Names

If you’ve had your domain name for a rather long time, then you were probably exposed to emails that are informing you to transfer your domain name. I want to give you the heads up before you go ahead and make a big mistake by deciding to renew or transfer your domain name. There are so many companies out there that send out these ridiculous mailings to both your street address and your email as well. In the mailings, they make it seem like all you need to do is renew your domain name. In the real world, you don’t need to renew your domain name at all they are just pulling your leg into changing to a new domain registrar. Generally, I realized that they charge 2-3 times per year just for a domain name. It’s just a gimmick! Do not get duped into going with another company because it there usually an overly priced domain registrar. Obviously, you have to renew your domain name so that you are able to continue using them before it does expire. But you can always do that with your current domain registrar, and generally you would do it on the internet and not through the slow old fashioned mailing way. So what do you think?

Most of my domain names are registered at Namecheap.com I would recommend them as a registrar.
